A Change

Feeling like a brand new person
ever since i did
what was right for
me
not worrying about
what anybody else had to say
because in the end
it was my feelings on the line
he hit me
made me cry
i had enough
of him
after a year and
a few weeks
people kept telling me
i could do better
so i went and did what was
best
and i became a free lady
and i feel liberated because its
all about me now
